THE KINKS' RAY DAVIES To Perform With METALLICA At ROCK HALL's 25th Anniversary Ray Davies from THE KINKS will join METALLICA for their October 30, 2009 performance at Madison Square Garden as part of the 25th-anniversary celebration of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also scheduled to appear with the San Francisco heavy metal giants is legendary BLACK SABBATH singer Ozzy Osbourne. http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...wsitemID=129065 The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has announced that legendary rockers John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival) and Ray Davies (The Kinks) have been added to lineup of rock stars at the 25th Anniversary Rock Hall concert next week in New York City. Fogerty will be teamed up alongside Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band on October 29th. Fogerty, the former front man and guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival has had a resurgence of late with new solo albums and tours. I read that news this morning probably a little diagonally. Didn't even realise Ray was in too. Very cool.

It's a benefit concert and they seem to be adding and subtracting people all the time. To buy tickets, you have to pay $2,500 to $3,000. Good luck. There are free tix to fill up the area behind the stage, they have no visibility, but they seem to be all gone.
