The Choir will only be in SF, LA and NYC...possibly Boston. There will not be choir on the other dates and I dont know anything about a second night at the Warfield...I think this information is wrong unless something has changed in the last 2 days!

For those of you not able to make these gigs Ray should be doing some national radio and TV in the US as well.

Ray's band is off today for the Swedish and Norwegian dates which looks to be great as they have never played some of these places before up near the North pole. The band for those will be Gunnar, Geoff on drums, Dick, Bill and Ray with Pilgrim opening those shows except Amsterdam. The band was sounding great in rehearsals yesterday. Ian Gibbons instead of Gunnar will be doing the US dates. I'm not sure who the drummer will be for the US yet.

Also the new Pilgrim cd will be available at those Scandi gigs and online soon with two Ray original songs on it. Ray provides a little backing vocals here and there and some guitars as well. It will be coming out on the Rootsy label in Sweden but we should have some stock for ordering on Ray's site towards the end of the month when it is released to retail.

best
Chris

Thanks for the information Chris. Assuming I can get tickets, I'm going to try for at least one night in NYC (maybe both) for the unique and historic choir concerts, and the final night in New Jersey with the band.

Thanks for the updates Mr. Central.

I always enjoyed Ian on keyboards - he was very animated on stage, as was Jim Rodford. Speaking of Jim, isn't his son a drummer who toured with the Zombies (along with his dad)?

Chris, I'm available to play drums biggrin.gif ...but Ray would want to beat the crap out of me by the end of the tour laugh.gif ph34r.gif but thanks for all the latest info, so far I plan on making all the East Coast shows for sure raydavies/cheeky-smiley-004.gif and maybe also the West Coast ones too but not certain yet about those.

What an event that would be - a Ray Davies end of tour concert with Ray beating the crap out of Frank as the grand finale. That might sell out Madison Square Garden.
