'Salvation Road'

Goodbye freedom
hello fear
a brave new world has suddenly appeared

Sitting In My Hotel. Incredible song, every time I hear it I think it's my favourite (although I also think the same of other few songs when I hear them, but not too many).

I - ahem - downloaded the double CD "BBC Sessions" this morning before going out to play soccer, and i was - ahem - punished: my elbow hurts and i didn't score.

Soooooo, i'm listening to this curious live "Skin and bone/dry bones" version.

Btw, i only downloaded about 10,000 tunes since .mp3 came to the web, will i go to hell?

Youri, if you go to hell, you'll be in some pretty rockin' company. raydavies/bandit.gif See ya there! raydavies/smooch.gif

The Getaway (Lonesome Train)

The final part with the whispers:

"Go and make it
the great escape
get out that door
before it's too late
the lonesome train..."
