Thank goodness someone around here knows how to wield a glue gun raydavies/smooch.gif

Hope you're feeling better -- I know how those wistful moods can take over, especially in late autumn (something to do with all those dead leaves on the ground...). Your instincts are right on target -- boot up some great music and let it heal you.

Weather hasn't improved my mood...but "Can't Stop Music!"
always helps. smile.gif

Wait 'Till the Summer Comes Along...as November wind howls around my building. Sheer pervesity on the part of my brain.

Today and yesterday, non-stop "Starstruck."

Misfits
The story of my life
" afraid of youself so you run away and hide "

Complicated Life- 11-08-2005
While channel surfing just before 9PM EST, I came across The Sopranos on HBO - just as Tony was harassing his sister Janice at the dinner table -- and after making her go bonkers, striding out the door to the opening strains of "I'm Not Like Everybody Else", the live version from To The Bone. The entire song was played over the closing credits.

Not a bad song to have playing over and over in my head.

HA!! HA!!
That my mom's 365 days a year non-stop track.. I't begins to drive me MAD!! blink.gif

Personal, my Kinks song in my head today (for that matter, the last two weeks..) is "On the outside". It seems like Ray has been seated outside my window and written that tune..It's so me I am afraid... wacko.gif

Imaginary Man- 11-09-2005
Mine is also I'm Not Like Everybody Else. It may have become my favourite (of course with Waterloo Sunset) and this is hard to say with a band with many good songs as The Kinks.

He..he.. Yeah. You're probably right.. I agree it's a nice tune, but I don't understand why she find it so catchy?!
Here a list over my mom's favourite songs of the Kinks, I don't know what you can interpret out of it, but I had quite fun making it, 'cause it's so typical her:
"Laila (that's my name..) can you play Starstruck for me, please?" tongue.gif

STARSTRUCK!! ph34r.gif
Come Dancing
Sunny Afternoon
The First Time we Fall in Love
Jack the Idiot Dunce
Predictable
Art Lover
Killers eyes
(It took me 1/2 year to turn her into that tune. At first she thought it was too heavy (in it's message, I think..))
Heart of Gold
Picture Book
Village Green
Days
Dead End Street
Victoria
(that's one of my favourites too!!)
Harry Rag (she's totally into that Irish sound..)

i hope tomorrow you'll find BETTER THINGS

Made the mistake of listening to Property the other night, and now I cannot get rid of it. This one severely affects my mood whenever it gets stuck in my brain.... not always a good thing...

Hey hollyh - how 'bout "A Rock N' Roll Fantasy" which we will be fortunate enough to experience in less than 2 weeks!
