always think back to Ray's description of writing the lyrics in Xray.. alone in the kitchen with a bottle of vodka, if i remember correctly..
It's a wonderful song

He hasn't got a garden but he's got a lovely patio...maybe it's that line Holly!?
Oh how I love to hear that demolition sound of concrete crashing to the ground...

Right now This Man He weeps tonight is going through my head, that and Lincoln County, and Act Nice and Gentle.

No, I think it's more "Then we'll build a row of identical boxes And sell them all off at treble the profits...The deeds are in my pocket, I've got a contract in my hand, an opportunity for luxury living." All this talk about Ray making millions from the lucrative advertising deals somehow made me think of how gleefully he sang these lyrics.

No matter. I have moved on, and today I am in my "Shangri-La."

Im stuck on Wonderboy the song in my head is in repetition mode

Dream alone, don't sigh, don't groan
Life is only what you wonder.
Day is as light as your brigh-*test*-('") dreams,
Night is as dark as you feel it ought to be.
Time is as fast as the slowest thing,
Life is only...

Wonder boy,
Wonder boy.
Everybody is looking for the sun.
People strain their eyes to see,
But I see you and you see me,
And ain't that wonder?

Wonder boy, some mother's son,
Life is full of work and plunder[blunder?].
Easy go, life is not real,
Life is only what you conjure.
