Waterloo Sunset- 12-28-2005

Days ------------Live on To The Bone.

Just as it was when I use to see them live will Dave make the harmony--cause he does sounding "fragile" and "wonderful" at the same time (if you get what I mean).

This is the version for my funeral.

Frank.

Missing sun of any kind.

Me too. I'll have to say "Stormy Sky" as my area was just put under a tornado watch....always exciting! blink.gif

Dave's background subtle guitar runs on  " Nothing to Say " are among the best I ever heard.

I'll agree with that, Mr. Lima.
I'll also nominate his similar work on "Uncle Son" to that list.

now it's
You can't stop the music...
just thinking about Dave's slithering sliding guitar in that song makes me want to smash the strat that's sitting in front of me now...
I can remember them closing some shows with that back in the 70's and thinking Dave is the man !

FrankLima- 12-31-2005
I'm thinking of Dave's multi layered chugging guitar on People in Grey, Complicated Life and Muswell Hillbillies, not only the album studio versions but also from my memory of that 1971 tour..." I'd go back if I could only find a way "
I have pictures of Dave with his beard at the time just belting out these amazing slides and blues runs..it would have made Ron Wood and Ronnie Lane of the Faces at that time even smile. raydavies/cheeky-smiley-004.gif

No More Looking Back.......

Very apt too, for this time of year!

Then I guess we can add " Better Things " to list for looking ahead to the future...
Here's wishing everyone out there in kinkdom the bluest of skies for 2006 !
